STEAM Melting Crayons (4/23)
This Thursday we’ll be reading The Lorax and experimenting with a few different heating elements to make melted crayon Earth rocks.
STEAM Story Times are free to attend and open to children of all ages and their families. STEAM stands for Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math. Our goal is to promote literacy, critical thinking, creativity and teamwork.
Our weekly STEAM based story times have been gaining popularity among kids and parents. Along with a book, children enjoy a fun hands-on activity using simple materials. Whether it be experimenting with magnetic slime, flying rocket balloons, or building bubble forts, kids create memorable experiences.
