Friends of the Marshall Public Library
- The Friends of the Marshall Public Library meet every third Thursday of the month, at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room of the MPL.
- Membership Dues are $5.00 – paid annually
- Benefits of joining the Friends: “Sneak peek” book sales, “first-to-know” updates on library news and plans, opportunities to plan programming, and community involvement.
- The purpose of the Friends shall be to maintain a nonprofit organization of interested persons to advance, support and encourage appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, and public use of the educational and cultural facilities at the library, and to cooperate, when appropriate, with other groups to improve the cultural activities of the community.

Friends of the Library Bylaws
Book Donations Now Accepted
With a thriving Friends of the Library group now in full force, the Marshall Public Library is now accepting gently used book donations, as well as DVDs, Blu-rays, and puzzles. For other donations, please speak with the Library Director or Assistant Director.
Sorting Books
Friends of the Library Volunteer their time to help sort some of the hundreds of donated books. The Friends plan to hold two books sales a year to raise funds for the Marshall Public Library.
