Saline County Biologists to Hold Pizza Gathering at Library

Join the Missouri River Bird Observatory for a free Local Community Workshop on Plastic Pollution on Wednesday, March 18, from 5:30โ€“7:30 p.m. at the Marshall Public Library.

This interactive, two-hour session will explore how plastic waste impacts wildlife, waterways, and our local environment, highlight solutions being used in other communities, and discuss practical steps for reducing plastic use locally. The workshop will be led by Saline County-based biologists Dana Ripper, Ethan Duke, and Melina Matheney, who have been working on plastic pollution topics for several years.

Dinner from Loveless Pizza Tavern will be provided, and all community members are welcome.
