Marshall Public Library

The Marshall Public Library is a municipal library located in the agricultural heartland of the USA - Marshall, Missouri. We serve the citizens of the City of Marshall and Marshall Public School district. Non-residents may purchase a yearly library card.

This evening well be folding and decorating different paper airplane designs and testing them by attempting to throw them through hoops from a set distance. Children of all ages are welcome! Well have some pre-folded planes available for our younger patrons!

Different paper airplane designs teach us fundamental principles of physics and engineering, particularly aerodynamics, by allowing us to explore how variations in wing shape, weight distribution, and structural balance affect lift, drag, and gravity to create varied flight paths, distances, and stability.
